Meeting Alice at her trial was such a joy. We instantly clicked, diving into the most beautiful conversations about her relationship, the journey leading up to the big day, and her vision for the wedding. She has this incredible, fun, and authentic energy – and I just knew her wedding morning was going to be something really special.
From the start, Alice had a clear idea: she wanted to feel like herself – natural, radiant, and healthy – but with that extra something for her big day. Together, we worked not just on the creative side of her makeup, but also on the practical aspects, especially around caring for her sensitive skin and eczema. We made thoughtful adjustments to the skincare routine and even swapped out the foundation we’d used at the trial. On the day, I truly think we perfected it – her skin looked beautiful, fresh, and glowing.
To keep the eyes bright and the centre of attention, we created a cool-toned smoky eye without eyeliner, softening the edges and letting the shadow shape the eye naturally. We finished the look with individual lashes for fluttery definition and added a pop of fun with chunky, super sparkly glitter — just the right amount of drama!
A complementary Hourglass blush gave her cheeks a dusky mauve flush, and we rounded out the look with the perfect MAC lipstick.
The final result? A modern take on vintage glamour — timeless, radiant, and totally Jess.
