At Moya’s makeup trial, we instantly bonded over a shared love for Kate Bush and her thoughtful, intentional approach to every detail of her wedding. As she spoke about her plans, I could feel the energy, care, and love she was pouring into her day.

It was clear that her wedding was going to be something truly special – a perfect blend of timeless romance and personal meaning. From the beautiful church ceremony to the intimate summer back garden reception, handwritten notes for each guest, and heartfelt vows, every part of the day was a reflection of Moya and her values.

One of the most touching details? The colour palette. Moya took inspiration from a painting cherished by her, her sister, and their mum – a subtle nod to family and memory that wove itself seamlessly into the look and feel of the day.

When it came to her bridal makeup, I knew it had to feel soft, romantic, and entirely her. We chose the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk eyeshadow palette paired with complementary blush and lipstick. The result? Effortlessly elegant and completely Moya. She looked absolutely beautiful.

Iridescent Pinks & Glowing Skin

Wedding Details:

Meeting Alice at her trial was such a joy. We instantly clicked, diving into the most beautiful conversations about her relationship, the journey leading up to the big day, and her vision for the wedding. She has this incredible, fun, and authentic energy – and I just knew her wedding morning was going to be something really special.

From the start, Alice had a clear idea: she wanted to feel like herself – natural, radiant, and healthy – but with that extra something for her big day. Together, we worked not just on the creative side of her makeup, but also on the practical aspects, especially around caring for her sensitive skin and eczema. We made thoughtful adjustments to the skincare routine and even swapped out the foundation we’d used at the trial. On the day, I truly think we perfected it – her skin looked beautiful, fresh, and glowing.

To keep the eyes bright and the centre of attention, we created a cool-toned smoky eye without eyeliner, softening the edges and letting the shadow shape the eye naturally. We finished the look with individual lashes for fluttery definition and added a pop of fun with chunky, super sparkly glitter — just the right amount of drama!

A complementary Hourglass blush gave her cheeks a dusky mauve flush, and we rounded out the look with the perfect MAC lipstick.

The final result? A modern take on vintage glamour — timeless, radiant, and totally Jess.

I had the absolute pleasure of being a part of Jess’s stunning London wedding in Hackney in 2024. From the moment we met at her trial, there was an instant creative spark between us. Jess wore the most breathtaking Jenny Packham gown — a 1920s-inspired masterpiece adorned with intricate beading and shimmer. We knew straight away that we were going to lean fully into that vintage glamour.

Taking cues from her dress, we embraced a theme I like to call Gilded Elegance — a look that channels the sophistication of Art Deco with the soft, subtle sparkle of taupe tones.

For Jess’s base, we went with my go-to full coverage foundation from Charlotte Tilbury, which sat beautifully on her skin — radiant, smooth, and photo-ready all day. From there, I layered a mix of my favourite cream and powder products to bring dimension and a soft-focus glow.
