Before the wedding morning, we’ll have finalised the perfect timetable so everyone knows exactly where they need to be and when. I’ll also coordinate with your hairstylist to make sure the schedule works seamlessly, ensuring everything runs smoothly. 

I’ll arrive 15 minutes before the first makeup service to set up my chair and kit. If you see me rearranging furniture, don’t worry – I’m not practising feng shui,  just making sure I have the best light to work in! Once I’m all set up, the chair is yours. Wedding mornings tend to fly by because you’re having so much fun, so if we’re ahead of schedule, even better! 

I always plan the schedule so that you and your bridal party are ready with an hour to spare before the ceremony. During this time, you’ll all get dressed while I tidy up and begin makeup touch-ups. From lipstick to a little body glow, everyone will get exactly what they need to feel fabulous. I also provide thoughtful extras, like touch up kits for you and your bridal party, so everyones makeup stays perfect from the first photo to the last dance of the night.

Before your trial, i’ll send you a Bridal Trial Questionnaire to help organise the logistics of when and where it will take place. It’s also a great way for me to get a sense of your vision. On the day of the trial, we’ll dive even deeper! Over a cup of tea, we’ll chat about the vibe, the dress, the flowers – I want to hear all the details!

Next, we’ll talk makeup do’s and don’ts, pinpoint what you love from your inspiration images and I’ll carefully select products from my kit that will complement your look.

Then comes the fun part – bringing your look to life! Remember, the purpose of the trial is to try things out, so it’s absolutely fine if we decide to make tweaks afterward. Maybe you’ll want to try a different lipstick shade or add some eyeliner -it’s all part of the process.  

Once we’re happy with the look, I’ll take photos for you to reflect on and make detailed notes of all the products used. After the trial, please wear your makeup throughout the day to see how it holds up. If there’s anything you’re not completely happy with, take photos and share your feedback – I’ll find the perfect alternative. 

My top tips for your trial 

• Wear a similar colour to your wedding dress or outfit. This helps us really envision how you’ll look on the big day. 
• Bring your makeup bag. If there are specific products you love, like your go-to lipstick, have them on hand for me to incorporate. 
• Prepare a setup space. Since I primarily offer mobile trials, please have a spot ready with a table for my kit and ideally near a window for natural light. 

Your trial is the perfect opportunity to ensure your wedding day makeup feels completely you. It’s a chance to collaborate, experiment and fine tune every detail so you feel beautiful and radiant when you walk down the aisle.
