It was an honour to be part of such a special day and a perfect reminder of how powerful trust, creativity, and a little sparkle can be.
On the most perfect August summer’s day, the beautiful Hollie tied the knot with Hamish and I had the absolute joy of being her bridal makeup artist.
Hollie is truly one of the kindest, most genuine souls I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the very beginning, working with her felt effortless. At her trial, we spent as much time chatting about life as we did about the wedding, and it instantly felt like such a natural connection. With her own background in makeup, communicating ideas and looks flowed so easily, it was such a collaborative and inspiring experience.
Hollie came prepared with stunning inspiration images and a clear vision, with two key elements she wanted me to focus on: sparkles and pink. Honestly, music to my ears.
And that’s exactly what we created.
The final look was soft, feminine and glowing, with the perfect balance of shimmer and warmth. The pink tones brought a fresh, romantic feel, while the sparkle added that extra touch of magic — catching the light in the most beautiful way throughout the day. Hollie looked so pretty and completely herself.
Alongside Hollie, I also had the pleasure of creating looks for her four gorgeous bridesmaids. Each of them chose something slightly different to reflect their own personalities, which I absolutely loved. While I’m always here for a cohesive bridal party, Hollie’s priority was that everyone felt confident, comfortable and like the best version of themselves – and that always shines through more than anything else.
It was such a special morning filled with laughter, warmth and so much love. Being part of moments like this is exactly why I adore what I do.
